The Institute of Chartered Accountants has just launched a new virtual discussion group aimed at Not-for-profit voluntary treasurers. The first group meeting took place on the 19th July as a Google Hangout.

The group is chaired by Institute member, Ruby Chandraraj. At the moment the group is limited to 10 concurrent connections. It is hoped that there will be enough interest from volunteer treasurers to warrant starting additional groups, too.  The idea is an exciting one because it means that volunteer treasurers from all parts of the country will have access to the same quality group.  This is a group we will be watching with interest.

If you would like to be part of this group you will need to create a Google account first. Then email the Institute with your contact details. Expressions of interest from members interested in presenting to the group can be emailed to ruby@pragmacus.com.au
