Give Now Week is an annual event created to focus attention on the many ways that individuals, families, businesses, and groups can make a difference to the community in the lead-up to Christmas.  This theme for 2013 is Pass the Hat – a good ‘ol Aussie tradition where everyone chips in for a good cause.  So pick a cause and pass the hat…

There are so many causes and charities out there that sometimes it is hard to know just where to start.  Give Now is essentially a giving portal which allows you to view local, national and even international causes to research where you can assist, all year round – not just in December.  You can search via keyword, interest area and geographic location to pull up a particular cause or charity that aligns with your values or interests.

You can opt to do a myriad of good to help others in need.  You can give money, give blood, give to an emergency, give time, give clothes and more.

For NFPs who have the authority to fundraise, Give Now is also a great way to get the word out about your cause and raise money towards your fundraising goals.
