Do you need help breaking out of “the box” and changing things to make the world a better place? If you are a creative and dynamic social entrepreneur or know someone who is, then you should apply for one of the five new scholarships now being offered by Dimension 5.

Help Change the World

These scholarships are valued at $10,000 each and come with a host of benefits that are designed to help support emerging entrepreneurs as they shake things up by supporting one another as they invent fresh, novel ideas, produces and services that can change the world.

As part of the award package, scholarship recipients will receive a 12-month membership that will include the use of a free desk in Dimension 5′s new co-working collaborate space as well as access to free high-speed internet and printing facilities.

Scholarship winners will also have access to Dimension 5′s inspiring mentor program, opportunities to network as well as invitations to special events. Typical events include classes such as yoga and meditation, professional guest speakers, and events where participants can enjoy breakfast together while they brainstorm and pitch their latest ideas.

Dimension 5 is a partnership between Dimension Data and Creative Universe. It offers a unique new co-sharing space that encourages diversity and creativity by bringing together, in one shared space, innovative leaders from every industry and sector of the economy. Members include rising stars at start-ups, to NFPs, consultants, entrepreneurs and even specialised teams from larger groups.

How to Apply

As part of the process of applying for the scholarship, entrants should write submit one to two pages that provide the following details and answers several specific questions:

• Applicants should write a summary that tells Dimension 5 something about themselves and their background, as well as details on how they can be contacted.
• Include a short piece on their specific social enterprise, its mission and goals.
• Describe their plans for the future and the steps they plan to take.
• How will Dimension 5′s scholarship help them to achieve their goals?
• If selected for the scholarship, what will they give back to the community at Dimension 5?

The deadline to apply to win one of the five scholarships is 5 pm on July 31^st, so don’t delay!
