The Legal Stuff
On payment being received by Admin Bandit Pty Ltd (“the Bandit”) the Bandit gives you a licence to use the Admin Bandit Software (“the Software”).The licence is not transferable, except as described in these terms of use. Unless the payment details say otherwise, you are responsible to pay all relevant taxes, duties and surcharges that apply.
In signing up for the software you are agreeing to some things.
If you do pass it on to the next treasurer, it is still this same licence. If you pass it on you must let the next treasurer know about these terms of use. This means that other members within or outside your organisation are not licensed to log on as you or use your id and password.
Unless you have permission in writing from the Bandit, you cannot transfer the licence to someone else except as described in these terms of use.
The Bandit keeps all the intellectual property rights in your copy of Software and retains ownership of the software that you have been licenced to use. You cannot modify the software without the Bandit agreeing in writing. If you do modify the software, the software as modified remains the property of the Bandit. If you infringe someone else’s rights changing the software, that is your responsibility, and you shall fully indemnify and hold harmless the Bandit against any such claim.
You agree to staff or sub-contractors of the Bandit accessing data from your account for support, analysis, design and testing purposes. You agree to your organisation name being used in promotional material.
If any part of this agreement is invalid, it doesn’t stop the rest from working.
This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws for the time being in force in the Australian Capital Territory of Australia and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and Tribunals of that Territory.
