One of the great things about Australia is the caring, compassionate, can–do attitude of many of its citizens. It is often stated that it is within an Aussie’s nature to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty, and jump in to give someone a hand.
When you look at the number of charities and not for profit organisations in this country, you can’t help but agree with this sentiment. There are a great number of inspiring Australians out there, doing amazing things for various causes and people within the community.
Because of the changes for good these people are making, AMP’s Tomorrow Fund is making available grants of between $10,000 and $100,00, for inspiring Aussies who are making positive changes to our nation.
Do you know some inspirational Australians who could use some funding to make the difference they are so passionate about making? Perhaps you are one, yourself?
Organisations themselves are not eligible to apply for the funding, but it is open to individuals aspiring to make an impact and change lives. It doesn’t really matter what your cause is; last year alone there were grants given to individuals including athletes, scientists, artists to medical researchers, inventors and social innovators.
Funding is available to a range of change-makers, for a variety of reasons. Whether it is for travel to connect personally with your beneficiaries, or financing prototypes and pilot programs, R&D, or just some backing to help you move into the next phase, it is worth the time to apply.
If you do have a cause or idea you’re passionate about pursuing, and that will make the lives of others better in any way, you have until 4 pm on May 18 to apply online for a grant to help you make Australia an even better place to live.
